Supporting the brave

Horrific. Heartbreaking. Infuriating. Inspiring. Challenging. Life Changing.

There are just a few adjectives that can be used to describe the war in Israel.

But perhaps the most fitting adjective describing what Israelis are living through is uncertainty. How much longer will this war go on? Can we go to the supermarket or will there be a siren? Will someone else I know fall victim to Hamas? Will my son fighting on the front lines come home?

For many Jews in Israel, this uncertainty isn’t a result of October 7th and the war with Gaza. Jews in Judea and Samaria, who are surrounded by hostile Palestinians, regularly live with frightening uncertainty.

In the month leading up to October 7, Islamic terrorists committed 147 terror attacks in Judea and Samaria alone.

The victims of these attacks aren’t not only the people physically attacked by Palestinans, but also their loved ones. When a loved one is murdered or injured, family members suffer terribly. Too often, they are forgotten.

Israel365 refuses to forget these brave Israelis of Judea and Samaria . They need help to recover, so naturally Israel365, with our partners at DIVOTE, stepped up.

Because of your donations, we were able to help the Tamari family through a horrifically painful time. Meir Tamari, a 32-year-old father and husband from Hermesh, a town in Samaria, was headed home to see his wife and young daughters when two Jihadi terrorists passed Meir’s small blue car, firing seven bullets at him with an M16.

Three bullets struck Meir’s upper body, and he tragically succumbed to his wounds, leaving his family without a husband, father and breadwinner. Tal was absolutely devastated.

Israel365 has been able to provide the financial support that Meir’s wife, Tal, needs to get by day to day for her and her two precious children.

But our support of the brave Israelis of Judea and Samaria who need us doesn’t stop there.

Chaim and Ora Moradorf’s sixteen-year-old son was murdered in a terror attack in Samaria earlier this year. In the aftermath of this nightmare, his parents and eight siblings were struggling with many expenses, including trauma care and therapy. Your donations provided them with financial support, which brought relief during a very dark time.

Additionally, with your help, we also helped the Olami family of Samaria. Matanya, a father and husband, was wounded in a terror attack earlier this year. He bravely fought back against the terrorists after he was shot, eliminating the terrorists who had killed and injured other innocent civilians. Matanya is currently confined to a wheelchair and requires additional surgeries.

Matanya and his wife have seven children, but he is unfortunately unable to work. Your generous donations were used to pay their children’s tuition fees, which they otherwise could not afford to pay.

The support we provide these victims is only possible because of your donations.

Dancing Through Life

Binyamin had a smile that lit up the room and a personality that brought joy to all who knew him. He was a happy young man who loved to dance. Though we are broken over his loss, we realized that the only way to properly honor him was to bring joy to others – and party like only Binyamin knew how!
