Israel365 began with a vision to connect Israel lovers with God, the Land of Israel, and the People of Israel.
After over a decade of success doing just that, we want to thank God by planting a brand-new forest to bless His Holy Land,.
That is where Baruch and Permaculture Nursery comes in.
Baruch is currently planting the Miyawaki Forest, where, with our help, the tremendous task of planting 10,000 trees is underway. And not just anywhere- in the precious Biblical land of Judea and Samaria.
Thousands of trees have already been planted there. Included in the species of trees already planted are the Ritamas, the Chase, the Vitex Agnus Castus– which is known in Hebrew as the Siach Avraham (Abraham Bush)- the Palestine Common Oak, and the Tabor Oak.
This incredibly important project is finding favor in God’s eyes because there has been a lot of spontaneous tree growth. This means trees grow out of the mulch on their own. This spontaneous growth only helps with our goal of seeing Israel flourishing and green, because even more trees are growing in the land of Israel. The trees growing spontaneously are Washingtonia Palms, Acacias, and Eucalyptus.
The trees they’re planting are a mix, all with different benefits to the land and people of Israel. There are trees that fix nitrogen, trees that produce food for livestock, and trees that produce flowers for pollinators.
Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to donate to the Miyawaki forest to ensure that the beautiful vision of Isaiah “[In days] to come Jacob shall strike root, Israel shall sprout and blossom, And the face of the world Shall be covered with fruit” (Isaiah 25:6) actually takes place.
But we’re not done yet. 10,000 trees planted is a big goal of ours, but we won’t be finished until all you can see in the forest are beautiful trees and greenery. And for that, we, and those who dedicate their time to planting in the Miyawaki Forest, need your support.
Your donation to the Miyawaki Forest will get a digital planting certificate inbox. Your name and tree dedication will also appear on the dedication page on our website.
The forest will only come to life through you – the global community of Israel lovers!
