With war, sirens, and uncertainty dominating daily life in Israel, many families are facing more than the fear of rockets; they are also fighting quiet battles inside hospital rooms. In the middle of all this chaos, Israelis are being helped because of you.
When we first shared the stories of Israel’s most vulnerable children, we asked you to help them in areas where they were getting no help.
You did.
Because of your generosity, parents sitting beside hospital beds tonight know they are not alone. Families who felt crushed under medical bills and impossible decisions now feel something they had almost lost—hope.
Your compassion is already changing lives.
Leah’s First Steps Forward
Leah recently underwent complex surgery on her legs to help her walk. But surgery is only the beginning. The long and difficult rehabilitation that follows determines whether a child will truly regain strength and independence.
Because of your generosity, Leah received a specialized walker that allows her to safely practice walking during rehabilitation.
Her parents shared how deeply your support has impacted their family:
“There are no words that can describe how much your actions have affected our daily lives, and especially Leah’s rehabilitation journey.
Leah
The walker you helped provide gives Leah a real opportunity to grow stronger and practice walking more correctly and safely.
Beyond the equipment itself, you also gave us hope and strength. Knowing that there are people who see these children and believe in them allows us to keep fighting for Leah’s progress.”
For Leah’s family, this gift was more than equipment.
It was hope. It was strength. It was the chance for their daughter to keep moving forward—step by step.
Arina’s Fight to Recover
Arina is only 13 years old.
Her life changed suddenly when a rare condition—Transverse Myelitis (MOGAD)—attacked her spinal cord.
Her family immigrated to Israel from Ukraine seven years ago hoping for a stable future. Instead, they now find themselves fighting a long and painful medical battle.
Arina spent a full month in the hospital and arrived at rehabilitation in a wheelchair. Her treatment now requires monthly immunoglobulin therapy—six vials every month for two years.
The cost is staggering for her family.
Her father is the only one able to work. Her mother had to leave her job after spending months at Arina’s bedside during hospitalization.
Because of you, families like Arina’s are receiving the support they desperately need—help that allows critical treatment to continue and hope to remain alive in their home.
Her mother asked us to share a message with you:
“Hello, thank you very much. We are grateful for your help and support. Without you, I don’t know what we would do. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.”
You Became the “Repairer of the Breach”
The prophet Isaiah promised:
“You will be called Repairer of the Breach.” (Isaiah 58:12)
Through your generosity, that promise is becoming real for families across Israel.
You helped provide medical equipment. You helped cover life-saving treatments. You helped parents remain beside their children without fear of losing everything.
Most importantly, you reminded these families that they are not fighting alone.
From the bottom of our hearts—and on behalf of Leah, Arina, and many other children—thank you.
Your kindness is helping heal Israel’s children, one life at a time.
If you feel moved to continue helping children like Leah and Arina, your support will allow us to reach the next family still waiting for hope.
