Thanks to your generous support, Tenufa Bakehila has been able to transform unsafe, crumbling apartments into homes filled with light and hope.
- Rivka from Bat Yam lived in a tiny apartment with peeling walls and flickering bulbs. Our team repaired the cracked plaster, repainted the entire home, and replaced her old lighting with bright, energy-efficient LEDs.
- Moshe from Netivot, a widowed survivor, struggled to open his windows or close his shutters. Volunteers fixed and reinforced them, then repainted his home so he could breathe fresh air again.
- Hannah from Sderot was afraid of the dark during rocket alerts — her wiring had failed. We installed safe electrical lines and new lighting throughout her home.
- Leah from Hatzor hadn’t been able to use her bedroom in years because the floor was broken and dangerous. After we installed a new one, she finally returned to sleep in her own bed with tears of relief.
- And across 25 bomb shelters used by survivors in Bat Yam and Rishon LeZion, we installed sturdy banisters and bright lights so they could reach safety when the sirens sound.
Each repair is more than construction work — it’s a promise kept. A reminder to these survivors that they are not forgotten.
Because of you, walls are strong again, lights are shining, and lives are being restored.
