You Didn’t Just Give a Gift. You Changed a Childhood.

This Chanukah looked completely different for children who have already endured more pain than most adults ever will – and that’s all thanks to you. What could have been another lonely, difficult holiday became a time of warmth, laughter, and connection. Thank you for stepping up when it mattered.

Your generosity supported Neve Michael Children’s Village, a place where Israel’s most vulnerable children are given safety, structure, and the space to heal. For more than 80 years, Neve Michael has served as a refuge for children facing neglect, abuse, and trauma. Today, it cares for over 400 children through Israel’s only multidisciplinary children’s home, providing daily therapeutic care, education, and long-term support into adulthood.

For children who cannot be with their families, holidays can reopen deep emotional wounds. Fear, abandonment, and isolation often replace celebration. Your support helped prevent that cycle from repeating.

Children at Neve Michael

This Chanukah was filled with laughter instead of silence. Children went bowling, jumped at a trampoline park, hiked by the beach, and enjoyed a movie day together. Inside the village, they built confidence and connection through an Italian cooking workshop for teen girls in crisis and a VR game day that brought excitement and shared joy into their daily routine.

These moments weren’t just fun. They were essential to healing. Positive experiences like these rebuild trust, restore confidence, and send a powerful message every child needs to hear: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.

Thank you for giving and for making this impact possible.

If you feel called to continue standing with children who still need safety, healing, and hope, your continued support helps ensure that Neve Michael can be there for them—not only during the holidays, but every day.
