What healing can look like after war

The war in Israel may fade from headlines, but for many soldiers, it doesn’t end when they come home. The noise stops, but the pressure, fear, and confusion stay. That is where real healing has to begin.

Your support helped fund a resilience seminar for soldiers in Jerusalem. One of the participants, a paratrooper, shared this message afterward:

“I want to thank you personally for the seminar you did for us on pressure and the future. It gave me peace of mind after the whole war. For the first time in a long while, I was able to breathe and understand what was happening, and what my future path could look like. What I wanted to do, how much I wanted to do, and how to do it. A huge thank you. It really isn’t obvious.”

This is what support can make possible. Not instant solutions. Not empty words. But a moment of clarity. A chance to breathe. A sense that the future is still there.

For soldiers who have been under constant fire, sent back again and again, and asked to carry more than anyone should, these moments matter. They help prevent trauma from taking deeper root. They give people tools to keep going.

The need is still enormous. PTSD is affecting soldiers, families, and children across Israel, and the system is overwhelmed. Continued support allows us to keep funding programs like this one that give people real help when they need it most.

If you are able to continue helping, your support makes space for healing, stability, and hope for those still carrying the weight of war.

Thank you for standing with them.
